Why I built Mr. Chung AI

It all started from this powerful image.

A boy sits on a wooden porch on a remote mountainside — no classroom nearby, no teacher to turn to, and the nearest town hours away. He lifts a phone toward a sheet of paper and asks a simple, human question: “Can you check my homework?”

What stopped me was the setting. There's no Wi-Fi out there. No signal. No cloud to call. And yet the phone answers — because the intelligence lives right on the device. That single frame made something click: the most advanced AI shouldn't require a data center or a subscription. It should fit in anyone's hand, anywhere on Earth.

That's the whole idea behind Mr. Chung AI — a patient teacher that runs fully offline on an iPhone. No internet, no account, no data leaving the phone. Anyone on a remote island, or just somewhere with no connection, can ask any question, snap a photo of their homework, or point the camera at the world — and get a real, kind answer, when there's no one else around to ask.
